Hunt southwest Montana on a 5th generation 100% private Ranch. Exclusive use hunt. Huge increases in elk and mule deer numbers have upped harvest quotas. We had 600+ elk behind the ranch in December and counted a group of 45 branch bulls with other smaller groups of bulls. Relatively easy access to spot, drive and hunt. Beautiful mountain ranch country but not a wilderness experience where you have to pack in on horses. Be guided by 5th and 6th generation Montanans who know how to hunt the back country. Great meals, accommodations, hot showers and hospitality. $4000/hunter, 6 days, 7 nights, airport pickup and return. 2 hunters per guide.
Our hunters last year had about a 75% success rate and our rifle and bow hunters turned down some bulls so we hope to have another good success rate this year as well. We recently acquired 16 additional guaranteed outfitter sponsored licenses so have 6 vacancies open for 2006. 10% discount for a booked hunt for 2006, either archery or rifle.
