This is going to be my first year hunting turkey and ive already driven my family crazy with my mouth diaphram calls  Im going to be bowhunting and according to the knoght and hale gobbler guide my season falls during the peak of the turkey "rut" should i use a ground blind? do i have to? i have a ground blind already so it wouldn't be a big deal but id rather leave it at home.

Should you? Probably
Do you have to? No

The blind allows you to make small movements with a LESSER chance of being detected. If your bow hunting it would probably be in your best interest to since you'll need to sit off the ground in a chair or seat to draw.

Good Luck!!

If your going to be bowhunting them....then yes you probably should use a blind because of the movement involved with pulling your bow back and what not.....its definitely NOT a neccessity...good camo and minimal movement is good enough. Good luck!
