| Well, here we go. I am curious if there are any fellow bench shooters here, and if they have any answers on bullets. I am currently shooting a 6 mm Remington, using a 90 gr. Berger VLD match bullet. My question is, has anyone used any other brands of match grade bullets? What brand and weight? I need to stick under 105 gr., due to my 1-8" twist bbl. |

A "bench" bullet, is simply a match-type bullet, that is the most accurate bullet available. they are a hollow point, and have a very high ballistic coeficient. They are only good for punching paper. The best group i have shot is under 1/8 inch at 100 yards....obviously this takes special equipment and ammo
