Another mountain lion in Los Angeles. They seem to be getting more incidents like this since they outlawed hunting them some years ago. |

| I saw that. That's crazy. I wish I could get one to come in my back yard, sure would save me a lot of time and effort. |

| I feel like I'm getting closer. I just met with a guy last night that has been having a lion come buy his house ever 4 weeks. He has found parts of peoples pets on his land. It should be comming back buy some time between this Sunday and Wednesday. I just hope that no one has gotten him before he comes back. I was thinking of getting a small deer decoy and using that along with a fawn distress call. Does any one think that he'll come to that? Seems like this lion is not afraid of people. |

| A decoy will not work for a cougar. Do you think they are stupid? Don't waist your time. I you want to catch a cat use dogs. Also make sure you have a tag and our in season. Animal rights groups read these pages as much as hunters so if your going to bragg about shooting a few cats under your house do it legally. I personally want the right to hunt mountain lion and when some guy braggs about shooting cats under his house it does not help the cause. |

| I didn't shoot the cat's, a local rancher did. He also called fish and game about it. They came out and he got to keep the cat's. Had one mounted. Your right about who all may be on here. You never know who your talking to. |

I have a tag also. Cougars are in season here till the end of march. I have spoke to people that have called them in so I'm not going to give up hope. I don't have the extra $3,000 to spend for a guide and dogs right now so that is why I'm trying it this way. I know it is a very slim chance of me getting one but I still want to give it my best effort.
Thanks for the info. |
