In the US the government would round'em up for child abuse. Nomadic, insular, not-main-stream. Strange affinity for red body paint, unsecured weapons in the home. Failure to provide modern medical care...

In Brazil they talk about the indigenous tribes in a context strikingly similar to polar bears (threatened species).

I think comparing the the jeffs polygamist sect to the brazilian indigenous tribe is slightly off. But the photos were amazing.
