Hello,
I have been in the market for an electronic caller for awhile now. I have checked out several models. It seems that all they are is a cheap portable CD player, a small amplified speaker, long speaker wire and a small camo bag. It seems that you cold put one of these together alot cheaper than buying the complete setup. Everyones got a few portable CD players laying around. Any comments or views appreciated.
Thanks |

| My very first Johnny Stewart caller played a 45rpm record and ran off D batteries. I went through alot of batteries. I'm betting you'll do the same. Nowadays the Johnny Stewart caller I use is rechargeable. Can call all day long and not run it down...get home and plug it in...good to go for the next round. It's also held up for several years. You might run into problems finding your stuff that can hold up to the use and abuse. |

| I use a Jhonny Stewart tape caller with a rechargeable battery, long range speaker, and extra speaker extension cord. |

I've just got the new FX3 from FoxPro & have only used it once two nights ago. I did not see anything but was only out an hour trying to figure it out & listen to the different sounds in the field. I was very impressed with the call 7 FoxPro is about as top of th eline as you can get, the FX3 is not cheap but by the best & it only hurts once. www.gofoxpro.com
Tried the FX3 again & well see below for your self!! :D

| I was told that Bass Pro Shops in Atlanta has Johnny Stewart digital callers on sale for $99 and they normally are $149. They come with sound cards and additional cards can be purchased. |
