Does anybody here shoot black powder revolvers? I always thought that would be fun but just never have bought one.

I have a pair of remington replica revolvers and I shoot them, yeah it is a blast, but messy, and stinky. But It is a lot of fun. I keep a bucket of water around to clean up after reloading as every thing gets sooty after a few rounds. Now I know why cartrige guns were invented.

I agree, there is little in handgun shooting that compares to feel of firing a big .44 cap-n-ball revolver.
BTW I have an article on my website that covers the basics of cap-n-ball shooting.
