| Well today was the first day of the Muzzleoader elk season here in eastern washington and it only lasted 20 minutes for me. I got a spike right off the bat this morning, I am very excited it was my first elk with a muzzleoader, but now my hunt is over. But deer season is right around the corner. |

Nice job....
Last years Elk hunting in Colorado I had the same thing happen to me, 20 minutes into opening day morning a nice 4x4 walked 20 feet from me. BUT, I did not shoot it because I said to myself, "No, I'll pass on him, I have 7 days left to get a bigger one"......... Well, I did not get an Elk that year....... I never had another chance........
Take them when you see them........ :](*,) |
