Reduced to $750 OBO. Fox Sterlingworth - Philadelphia - 12 Ga., 28 in. bbls. Serial 99xxx. Very tight and sound, no mechanical problems and I'm impressed by the quality. This gun deserves refinishing and I just do not have the time or money for another project. Has near 100% barrel blue but the case is gone from the receiver. It has been neglected as there is some surface corrosion, worse on the rib edges, but should polish out easily. Wood is in good shape, no cracks or chips, some linear dents seen on the left forearm, probably from laying on a sharp edge, but they should steam out. Checkering has been recut. Chambered for standard 2 3/4 in., the usual M/F choke. Bores are bright and shiny, but there's a very small, easily repairable dent in the right barrel 3 in. from the muzzle. I removed the poorly fitted Redhead recoil pad. Without the pad the LOP is 13 3/4 in., the drop 3 1/8 in. A lot of pictures are posted at: http://s539.photobucket.com/albums/ff354/jjk308/
All offers cheerfully considered. Plus shipping to FFL or C&R as needed if Outside Tampa Bay, FL area. Email jjk308@tampabay.rr.com Jim Klapper |
