i have a burnin issue just wondering if we have become so lazy these days that walking a trail would kill people. just bugging me because here they drive all over the place. they drove all around my bear bait this weekend. and i also have campers there now too. (maybe they like the free dognuts). just think that the comon qurties don't know how to spell very well. are gone that hunters just are out for themselves these days and don't care what one anther are doing. :](*,) :](*,) :](*,) :](*,) :](*,)

I agree that there is a bit of a shift in the professionalism of hunters. It seems to be no holds barred hunting these days. I had a duck blind a few years back that was on its 12th year being used. At the start of waterfowl season, I bring a small boat in and place it by the blind for retrieval. People had used the blind and the boat during this time but respected it enough to place the boat and clean up after themselves which we didn't mind. Three years ago, I went in to find a smashed blind, spent magnum shotshells everywhere, and the boat completely smashed. I know it was not the people that used it before because we had the unspoken agreement that is between "sportsman and women". It was hunting slobs too scared that we may get a duck if they leave it alone. This is still the minority but it is growing in strength.

Chester that sucks! I hate it when punks do stupid stuff like that. If I was to ever catch someone doing that to my stuff or a public set up like that, I would tear into them. That is a pet peeve of mine and it angers me just thinking about it.

The only time I will use a quad is if i need to pack out big game or if i have a long distance to travel and only 1 day. and even if i use a quad I only go about 100 meters from the bush line so that i dont scare the animals. I usualy get more sucess on foot.

4x4's are getting to be a huge problem around here. I can't hike in the mountain anymore without some jerk tearing up the canyon on his bike and spooking all the game. It's illegal to hunt off of one in Idaho but the fish and game doesn't seem to inforce it. They're too busy tearing around of their own ATV's herrassing some poor 12 year old with a rifle.

I couldnt agree with you guys more, I have an ATV but its only to carry out game and most of the time me and a pal drag game out by hand anyway there just nice to have around . We mainly use it to hoist deer up trees.
Im a nurse so there is nothing wrong with a little hike to the ole tree stand. |

Yep quads make great work horses for sure its all the people that can afford 10 quads you have to look out for thier kids have one for each foot and they dont care about your hunting area.
