Tonnes of hunters more quads this year than any year ive ever seen some of these trails i hunt i never used to see hunters on its crazy now all trails are like highways even if you do get lost you end up hearing vehicles when your in the thickest bush ahh well good for the sport guess ill have to go farther too I Still have no problem getting birds though the new gps works like a charm Ive always found the bush crashing way the best. Don't get me wrong my ol man always likes his truck/trial/road hunting also.Anyway best of luck on your hunt hope you have some better luck i didnt get my bear this year too many troubles with bait (getting it /People stealing it you name it.

No need to change, that lead should drop em right on the spot. The key is to take thier heads off man make sure you aim a little higher than thier head depending on what your using. I use my 12 guage almost all the time for partridge hunting for 2 reasons to leave with my limit and if they fly they arent flying far. Usually with partridge they dont like to fly anyway thier only going about 500 feet even if you sppok them bad. Don't get me wrong some are smart and will leed you right into the boondocks but most arent going far stock em and shoot em good luck for this years hunt youll get one keep at er.

P.S. Some places the birds spook real easy so be light footed. They usually see you before you see them. I like to walk certain rocky trials early mornin or at dusk thats when they are feeding on graval and small pebbles. We have 2 kinds of partridge here how many do you have? We have ruffed grouse which is in the pics above and spruce grouse which I havent seen many of this year.

thanks. in nb we've got ruffed grouse and spruce grouse and the ocasional long tailed partridge(pheasants) flys into my shot when i go jump hunting ducks. we're only supposed to shoot them when you've payed to hunt on the preserve but i know the guys who operate it and they don't care if i killl 1 or 2 roosters a year :D
