I will be hunting in unit 30 the last gun this year, can anyone tell me what the deer herd situation is? I hunted there last season and there was quite a bit of snow. Maybe the drought isn't so bad.

Not sure about the rest of you, but during the late rifle deer hunt, I always pray for a light snow. It sure increases the odds of you putting the crosshairs on a big buck. Tracks in fresh snow means fresh tracks, but you already knew that! :yes: LOL!

Sorry I can't report any info on the deer herd within Unit 30. Good luck none-the-less!
