I loaded exactly one. Chronographed it at 2600 fps MV. I tend to be a little shy of loading heavy bullets with stout doses of powder until I've had a chance to see how moderate loads work first. I believe it can be loaded to 2700, possibly 2800 fps in a 7mm Remington Magnum.
If they have a 300 grain bullet for .338, you should get a few and try them out in the 338-06. |

| If someone wanted to donate a few of the 300's. I'd run them down the barrel to see the results. I won't be buying a box. The 300's are probably pushing it, with perfomance, in a 33 cal. I would imagine that the 300grs has pushed the standard 338 barrel twist to it's max. |
