| Burnsy, Same here. I put in for Unit 30 for the "heck of it". (hate to leave a blank field). I'm interested in unit 30 for the restricted muzzleloader season. |

I was looking for hogs along the Pecos river in early April (in GMU 30). The Pecos follows the eastern edge, if i remember correctly. While we didn't find any hogs, we sure saw a bunch of deer watering on the river. We hunted the stretch of the river between Artesia and Carlsbad. If you could find some access to the water (as there is a lot of private land along there with oil rigs and cattle) i'm sure you'd see some deer.
Good luck! |

| I've hunted in Unit 30 going on 12 years, there are several good places you can pull an RV into and drive, walk, or 4wheel into. How big your RV is depends on how far you can get in. |

| Also, meant to tell you if you want or need any more info, be glad to help. We also drew out on the last rifle hunt. The moon will not be our friend during that time. |
