Yeah im thinking buying either rocky's snowstalkers witch are 1200 grans and rated for -150 dagrees or go with cabelas brand predators witch are also 1200 grams and rated for-150 dagrees. but i dont know what ones would be better.
So thanks for the imput! |

| The new rockys are better than the old style one I have used rockys for years and I have only one problem with them ,and that is the bottems have worn out long before the rest of the boot did. and for the gortex liner in there it is the best yet. I have a pair from 2 years ago the bottems are smooth and the sides are ripped out , but they are still waterproof . As for the thinsulate I think it is overrated had 800g feet still got cold. (cold would feel good now it's 95 here, :D ) |

Well ,
if was planning on sitting for any length of time in cold weather , I'd probably be looking for a "felt pak" style like Nokia or Kodiak. Not the type of boot that you'd want to walk far in, but with a good layering of socks they will certainly keep the toes warmer than most others that I can think of. I have both these and 1000 g thinsulate/ Gore-tex styles and for just plain sitting on the watch, give a felt pak any time.......just my thoughts......anyhow ::-k |
