| i never use a dog, i just get the 22 and go out in the winter and walk through the bush, usualy youll see them move and then u can get em |

| I tried bowhunting for rabbits for the first time this year, and i must say it was a blast, its also good practice for deer season! |

| My best method for finding rabbits is bush crashing threw little thickets of pines and spruce, rabbits around here are notorious for sitting under the sweeping branches of the spruces and sitting there eating you are almost guarenteed to find one huddled up under one. Even if you walk up on them they arent running to far thats why I use my shotguns for rabbits usually a 12 guage with a small shot shell # 7 or 8. |

| I always wait till after deer season and give them a chance to turn white much easier to spot then and the cold weather gets them moving ! half dozen or so is all i need to make traditional meat pies for christmas and a couple of rappee mmmm |

| Yea during the day your lucky too see em right now I dont know why. I used to be able to find them all over but this year I havent seen any. During the day that is after nightfall they litter the back roads. |
