Hi folks, am I glad to have find this forum. I’m a hunter myself, feel funny saying that, since I live in Socal and haven’t been hunting in a long while.
I have a few question regarding tracks made by African Lions, things like distinguishing marks. For example what is difference between Cougar tracks and African Lion, besides the obvious size? Does one walk heel to toe and the other the reverse of that.
Same thing with a Tiger, what are some things that a good tracker would pick up on right away.
I’m working on a project and need this kind of info. Any suggestions would be highly appreciated. The more info the better, if you have stories or illustrations feel free to share them.
P.S. Yes I do know there are no Tigers in Africa, but thought if someone knows they can answer. :D |
