I'm seeing only local geese around here.

They really like the golf courses and parks. The game and park departments had some [park] predation hunts for a handful of years - kind of fun. But the geese learn that if they get blasted at the fringes - then move in to the picnic table areas.

I keep asking IF F&G to have a park / golf course / green grass / picnic table / before-people-wake-up-in-the-morning archery goose predation hunt - but so far they haven't bit on it. Makes sense to me - no shot raining down on local businesses or cars or joggers. And the geese here are big targets.

But I guess after a few get arrowed - they'd wise up quickly to that also.

Hoping to clobber some of the northern birds when they come down.

tonnes fillin up the courses around here but nowhere you can shoot them for some reason way up here they know not to go into hunting territory
