Hello, new member here ,have a Newfoundland trip for Caribou and Ptarmigan in early Oct.Anyone live there or have knowledge of recent conditions?

| I don't live in NFLD but have hunted there many times around that time. It will start getting cold at that time of year with mornings in the 40-50's The province WILL be wet so footwear is of upmost importance. Shots on caribou are usually pretty close so a 20X scope is not needed. It is a great hunting area. Hope you enjoy. |
