| I don't know if their different than Sitka Blacktail. The sitka blacktail up here seem to do the same as what I hear the most deer do, at least on the mountains. Bedroom to kitchen to bedroom unless their rutting. the bucks seem to parallel the does trails but just a tad higher. Big ones seem up a little higher. Up here it seems to me anyway that the bucks visit their rubs just before the rut and then at night during. I've sat at their rubs in vain many times during the rut. But if you find the does you'll find the bucks. they're more active early and then late as their moving from and to their beds or feeding areas. During the rut they follow the does as they do their natural routine. there's nothing like finding a hot doe or two. |
