Thanks, Hiker. I am looking at S6 Colorado for my son to hunt anyone have any experiance there. It would be a rifle tag if drawn. I am looking at a little easier unit, new knee replacement this last August for myself :D

I hope you are blessed with a tag this year. I'd hook up with the DOW and participate in a sheep count and learn the area (S6) and the type of rams that it holds. It also would give that knee a good workout.

Hiker, Great news... I drew a bighorn tag.. Took about 13 years and who said 13 was unlucky??? My sons did not draw but they were happy that Dad drew six days before his 50th birthday. Will keep you posted :D

Ironhorse, Congrats! :thumbsup1: :D You're one of the only ones that I know of that drew a sheep tag. If I were you, I'd go to http://bighornsheep.infopop.cc/eve and start asking questions. Those guys know a ton about Colorado sheep. Try to get hooked up for a sheep count or two this summer. Have a blast and take plenty of photos.

Hiker, Thanks yep those guys do know theire stuff. I am a life member of RMBS. Still this will be my first sheep hunt. I consider myself a rookie. Hooked up with a guide I am trying to remove as many variables as possible. Hitting the treadmill every day, I have a way to go.
