| What are some places to look for in this unit? I have never hunted it before. |

I hunt in this unit a lot (I live in Flagstaff). I am partial to the transition zone between the aspens and ponderosas (ca. 8000 feet). The areas around Kendrick Mountain/Wilderness Area, especially the south side have often been productive for me. No real monsters in this area, but you can't eat the antlers anyway, right? Another nice area is farther north on US 180 toward Valle (but not that far). Red Mountain is on the west side of the road and I've seen some very nice ones in that area. Good Luck!
