here is the big boy I was telling you guys about! my wife and I went hunting on the lbj grasslands looking for some more of the sheep me and jeapers had gotten into a week before.we weren't seeing much sign of them so we split up to cover more ground.michelle spooked them out of a thicket and they ran towards me, but were watching her.I picked out the biggest one and shot accidentally hitting 2 of them! one small one.one big one! I use scent elimination products put out by southern outdoor products.they seem to do the job well! he sports 28" curls and is 28+ inches wide tip to tip!

| That is a very nice ram for a free ranging hunt. Are there anymore left out there? |

| That is a very nice ram. It looks like a Corsican. I bet it will look great on a shoulder mount. |

| yes i found it ! it dropped in it's tracks! It was a year old ram! I ate him! I had to dress him right there to get him and the other out of the woods! it was a 2 mile hike in and getting dark quick! I had to take pics after I got them to the house! I had my wife with me for help but the big guy was way heavy! I gutted him on the spot as well ! I quartered the little one and packed it out in my back pack! I didn't even see the little one standing behind the big one! I thought at first i had missed the big one, because he ran at first and I could see the little guy was down.just about the time I got on the big guy for another shot he started to cirlce and slow so I knew that I hadn't missed! |

:thumbsup1: Congratulations Guess, nice Barbado. Man they make good smoked Polish sausage, cooked on top of the stove in a iron pan in beer!
Guess, I used to hunt out at LBJGL a lot, but the last time I was out there most of the places i used to shoot, were off limits to guns. The maps we used to get at the police Dept in Decater, are not available there any longer. Where can I get maps of the grass lands, now?
I've shot several fair whitetails in the LBJ over the years, and a couple Hogs.
What is the chambering in your little break-top rifle? |
