You can go with the whisker biscuit..
Which the only disadvantage about it is that it tears up the fletchings on your arrows..
I went with the "V" Rest..
And it works good...
It is up to you now..

At first I shot a V-rest but they just make TOO MUCH NOISE if the tubing on the ends aren't changed frquently. Also if you tilt your'e bow from side-to-side or when you walk with an arrow nocked it is liable to fall off.
I now shoot a Droptine Whisker Buscuit . I am greatly impressed and satisfied with the noise reduction. The new Buscuits have zone specific fibers that aren't as tough on fletchings. I have shot around 200 times through mine with 2219 Easton XX75's w/ 4-inch vanes and can see no damage. |

| i personaly would not recomend whisker biscuit. my dad used for a year and it did tear up the fletching and his shot was sooo terible. after he got rid of it i told him about a rest called a Bodoodle game dropper. it is a very well set up and relible drop away rest at only 59 bucks. you can also get this little thing call NAP flip arrow holder which holds the arrow on very well. my dad is also shooting better. |

Cutoncontact09- Did your dad ever readjust his sights? On my bow which is a Onieda Black Eagle, it took hours of resighting. My bow now shoots tight groups (2-4inches) at ranges from 0 to 40 yards.I walk with my bow, more than I hunt from a stand so when I see a deer they are usually close and the noise reduction was well worth the time put into sighting it in.
Did he have the solid black fiber biscuit or the one with brown and black fibers?
Also did he have arrows made to shoot from the biscuit? My local archery shop, Champion's Archery, told me that the cocked feather should be pointing up and the fletchings should have a 2 degree offset. |

| I would look at the Whisker Biscuit QS with the B2 bristles. They are brown on the top and right below the arrow it is black or stiffer. You don't have to do anything special with your arrows but they do recommend a straight or offset fletch as opposed to a radical helical. The new technology in the biscuit does not tear up your fletching as bad as the older black biscuits did. I would recommend vanes over feathers though anyway. |

| If you hunt an area with rainfall. The whisker biscuit would be a bad choice. They get wet, arrows don't fly well. |

| I just switched to the trophy taker shaky hunter, and it works great it's a fall away with an 1 1/8inch. wide seat, and you can silence it with felt witout effecting preformance.. |

I dont like the WB but rain has no effect on the rest .
now if it is freezing rain that is a different story but I dont know any one stupid enough to hunt in freezing rain. 8) |

Call me stupid then cause I have and will again if thats what the weather is doing when I can get the time to go hunting. Its not all that comfortable but by god I'm a huntin!!!
I use a V rest and just replace the rubber tips every season ($1.99) and I am good to go. I dont usually walk with an arrow nocked though so I dont have a problem with it falling off the rest and never had a problem with noise that I would attribute to the rest.....yet. |

Good point JTapia.
Hunting with a nocked arrow is asking for some serious injuries.
I also use a V rest. No problems.
Whiskers are nice fair weather rests. When wet they fail.
I also must be stupid. |
