Has anyone had the chance to try out the new Leupold vari-x III scopes with the duplex range range estimating feature?

I have not had a chance to try it yet, although leupold literature says that it is only good between 200 and 600 yards.

I don't know what cost differental is between a standard duplex and the "duplex re", but if it was more than $100, I might be tempted to just get a regular duplex and then a laser rangefinder....

Speaking of leupold reticles, I think the new B.C. and Varmit Hunter reticles look interesting too.
