|
|
| I drew Idaho Unit 27-1 this year (west side MF Salmon Riv from Indian Creek downstream to but excluding Brush Creek). Any pointers as to where and how to find the rams? Terrain varies in elev from 4000 ft to 9700 ft. Early will the rams be high? Any recommendations on flying vs floating vs backpacking in? Right now thinking we'll come in high and hunt high. Getting in shape by climbing the Snake Riv canyon downstream of Lewiston bot to top once or twice a week, biking, etc. Warning those who want to come along to do the same. Planning to video. Got a goat last year, but, gulp, thinking this hunt will take me/us to the next level. Planning on hiking in this summer to scout. Any drainages we should look in? - and at what elevs? Any help is appreciated - I'll send you pics!!! |

| Jeff, thank you for the comments on my website. It's actually easy to maintain compared to the other stuff in my life. We're working on some stories generated from the Bighorn Hunt, and I'm trying to get in my Dad's hunt for some footage. |
