Since the formula for KE is Mass x Velocity sqared, you will get more kinetic energy bang for your buck by kicking up your speed. Aluminum arrows get dented, and bent. If carbon arrows are not broken they are straight.
Aluminum are better for sub 200 fps recurves. |
