Hello,
I am an aerospace engineer an inventor of a new fletching system. I would like to share what I am doing and get feedback. However, I do not want to step out of line on this site. Is it okay for me to discuss my invention?
Thank you

Thanks,
I promise to stick with questions and answers. What I need is feedback before I go out and hock my house on adds. My invention looks very strange but over the last two years has proven itself time and time again. I truly believe it will improve the sport and allow more hunter success.

What type of new system is it? How does it differ from the normal way? Does it improve accuracy or flight charcteristics?

I have a "gizmo" we call FOBs. (fletching only better- for now)
It replaces feathers or vanes on any carbon ICS (internal component System). They also work of Easton Super Swage 78’s. You do need a fall away rest.
A small group of my friends and I have been hunting with FOBs for about two years now. They really do work That’s why I decided to market the thing. It looks like a strange ring wing that attaches to your arrow with a standard ICS press in nock . My goal was not “how to make a buck” but rather "how do I get a Zwickey to fly"
What it does is allow hunters to accurately shoot large fixed blade broadheads even on windy days with complete control. When I go roving or target shoot, I find I loose less arrows and FOBs out last feathers 10 to 1.

Still kinda confused as how the thing looks. Got any pics? Could you make it useful on aluminum arrow shafts?

Lots of photo's on the web site but I do not want to cause problems by giving it out. Let me know if posting the address would OK?

How does it attach to the shaft? I shoot Easton XX75's can you use these or will they be made to fit those type arrows?

Uses a ICS nock (Internal Component Sytstem)to secure FOB in place.
Will work with any ICS carbon or Easton Super Swage 78's
As we grow we will be making FOBs for all.

OK so you need a fallaway rest. In looking at your product, what happens when you hit an animal? Does it just break away and let the bare shaft pass through?

Penetration is increased because there is no fletching to pull through. The FOB pops off easy and marks the spot. A bare shaft will penetrates much deeper than one dragging a fletch through. Lots off data of this one, both on critters and targets. Pick FOB up of the ground for re-use.
Roving is where the FOB cranks over fletch for durability. I rove about once a week here in the desert which is very tough on vanes. I now use the same FOB over and over again. Even after 20 or more pass through shots, the FOB just pops off for re-use. I loose more than I break. Honest. I even break arrows before the FOB is replaced. There is no doubt that for me, FOBs are less expense. (well-in my case maybe not-four years of work and mortgage the house for this project).
Thanks
