Does anyone have any bullet and powder combinations that will make my 6.5 a little more snappy?

You can try 120 grain or 125 or 129 grain bullets. It'll gain a bit of velocity and still have the momentum behind it.

I have some recipes for my 6.5x55 that are on the upper end of the spectrum for the calibre but I'm not going to share them here because I don't want somebody trying them in a rifle that will not handle them and get hurt. My suggestion is to try loading them up slowly until you get to a point where you want to be and there are no signs of pressure. "Varget" works very well in my rifle.

Chester Golf did just highlight one of the most important things about reloading. Be careful and do NOT copy maximum loads from your friends because each gun is an individual.
