looking for a place to fish for the weekend and want to catch some crappie. i live and kansas and want to know what would be the best lake to fish anyone no? iv read a couple magazines and they have pointed out some small lakes like longview and such.

They have started to be more active at smithville lake. I had some good luck last weekend. Its in Missouri but an out of state fishing license is only dollars a day.
