Myself and 3 friends are going out to Pikes County, IL this upcoming October for a weeklong bowhunt with Hadley Creek Outfitters. I hear the hunting is unbelieveable there. Has anyone hunted Pikes County and if so, any stories, advice, or words of encouragement for me?
I am from western Massachusetts and I am lucky to see a dozen deer all season, maybe one or 2 will have horns. I am told that I am going go nuts with all the deer I am going to see. Thanks everyone.

| The legendary Pikes County deer hunting. From what I've heard of the hunting there you are very lucky! Good luck and hopefully you will get a buck of a lifetime! |

| Congratulations, Hadley Creek is a very reputable outfitter with a great success rate. I am an outfitter also in Pike County. You will see lots of deer and potentually have an opportunity at a nice wall hanger. GOOD LUCK |

| Thanks for the encouraging words guys. I can hardly wait to go. I have never hunted outside of MA, CT, & NY... So, this is gonna be a treat for me. I am already losing sleep over it! |
