How is it working there? Has anyone seen any improvements yet? What does everyone think about it?

Here in NY I would love to see this happen.

As a fellow hunter in NY I thinks that this would probably be a good thing for NY to consider.

Too soon for me to tell. I hunted a new area this year. The antler restrictions just went into affect this season (special regulations area/shotgun only). I can tell you that my wife and I both would have been tagged out by 8:30 opening morning under last years regs. With the new regs. empty tags this year. I'm disapointed with the season but, do suport the antler restrictions. I have hunted Pa for 16 or so seasons and have not taken any real nice bucks but, I feel that will change in the next couple of years.

NYHUNTER, I would love it if NY went that way where I live you can hunt with a Rifle and everything with 3" of bone seems to get shot I passed 3 small bucks up this year in that area. That was all the bucks that I saw their, no the other hand I saw does almost every day took 3 does oldest being 9 1/2 years old dressed out at 87lbs. I think it is time to let the bucks go and shoot some does.

Arcgher, I think it would definiatley be god to consider, or atleast try in a few counties to see how it goes. It seems to be working alright over in PA. My neighbor took one of the nicest looking Ten pointers that I have evr seen from the NY,NJ,PA area.
