Hi everyone, several months ago, around 80 wild pigs escaped from an exotic hunting reserve and have since began moving into my area. Myself and a few friends are interested in hunting them, but since they aren't native to our area, we have no experience hunting them. Can anyone provide me with hunting tips, or give me some links to sites that have this information?
Thanks in advance,

#1- are they legal to hunt in Pa.
#2- where are they located
country/residential?
#3- look for food/water source
#4- check for signs -ie rooted up areas,
droppings, pigs etc
#5- remember a true feral/wild hog will eat
you!!
#6- need to review where to shoot them to
kill
good hunting-great eating

Since they don't belong here, there are no rules about hunting them, they have been spotted outside of a small town called Pine Flats, which is about 7 miles SSE of my place, and given their rate of travel, should be arriving in my area within 2-3 months. When they get to my area they will be in a rural setting with lots of cornfields and a few streams and ponds. Thanks for the info,

It looks by the time they get to your area
if their are any sows in the bunch and the boars are whole there may be lots of babies
general rule- 3mths 3wks 3 days= baby pigs
good luck with your hunt:-)
