Hey guys, I have a few questions that I hope someone here can answer. I'm coming up to Alaska in July and staying through August. What would be a good unit to hunt black bear in that has a year round season with good access? Thanks!

Not sure the Unit, but around the Susitna River.. It is accesable by Vehicle/ATV and Boat.
Floating would be your best bet, since they will be feeding on Salmon that time of year. |

try kenai peninsula. good bear population, and access.baiting best but ends 6-15. also be aware tree huggers trying to put a stop to baiting. i guess they don't understand importance of wildlife management. last two bear lovers f/ malibu cal. got themselves eaten. look ma, no brains |
