Hello All,
We live about 20 miles northwest of Portland in a somewhat rural area. Over the past several weeks a cougar has been spotted several times near our home (within 10 feet of our house). I actually saw it last night about 100 feet south of my driveway along the road. Granted it was dark, but this animal was quite large....I almost thought it was a deer due to the height of it's illuminated eyes. But, once I could make out the body shape, it was definitely a cat-like animal.
It is currently cougar season in our area, and I would be quite willing to discuss allowing an experianced cougar hunter on our property. I would be happy to speak to our neighbors for permission to also hunt on their property. The surrounding properties would probably result in an area greater than 100 acres.
Please respond if you are intersted. |

where abouts are you located?
I have a cougar tag and have hunted them, but never harvested one. |

| Get a preditor call and (fawn distress and a decoy) set back about 40 yards and get ready. |
