Checked my trail cam couple days ago, and this is what I find! I know you other KS guys will share the same head scratch moment I had. Keep in mind this is very NE Kansas. No farm raised elk around the area. Guess is he escaped Fort Riley.

| That's awsum! How far from Ft. Riley are you? They would LOVE to hear this! I'm on Ft. Riley and the conservation bldg ppl are only aware of the 3 (or so) herds on post. |

I think about 90 driving miles, probably 65 by elk travel. |

| he should have a mom and dad real close maybe your game and fish dep transplanted some elk into your state. it kind looks like a fence post in front of the elk or is that a tree |
