General update on the weather/snow cover in Colorado GMUs 3/4/301? Anyone have an update? I am headed up that way next week for the 4th season cow elk. ANY update would be great. Thanks!

Thanks!

Though I could not find anything close to the units we are headed :](*,) :](*,)

Closest was Elk River at 8700' so I am thinking double that on the hills.

Know of any of those listed that are between Craig & Baggs? I tried a bunch, maybe I will try them all :D

Yep, went through them all! Only a couple that are within an hour of thes units. Neither had much snow, so I am assuming that up high we are talking 12"+ which is not too bad. Looks to be hot the rest of the week, but something is brewing for the weekend!

thanks for the links. I agree that up higher there may be some snow cover of substance.

i chatted with a ranger at steamboat lake state park a couple days ago and he noted that there was only about 4 inches on the ground there.

Thanks again.
