Hi all,
To start off, I am new to high country elk hunting. That said, a buddy and I have been scouting all over unit 371 for the last couple months. We head up for the 4th season with either sex tags and have a few places at the top of our list to hunt. I am curious how the weather and pressure fo 3 rifle seasons may be impacting the animals. As well as any success stories you care to share. Most of the hunters we have run into have had poor luck with elk, mediocre w/ deer.
Also, any recent info on snow depth/elevation would be helpful.
