| Hey my names russ. i live and hunt in spartanburg county upstate south carolina. i am one of the many unfortunate young hunters that love to hunt but dont have alot of land or spots to hunt. however i do have one place that i have been hunting for a few years and the past few days are the first ive been out there and im jumping deer walking to my stand in the hardwoods either on the way to the stand or coming out and tonite got picked off once again by i think the big boy. if sum1 is interested in helping me let me kno n ill explain the situation and the way the land is layed out. |

Welcome to BGH Russ.
You might try another entrance and exit route to and from your stand.
Mabe scout around and see where the Deer are coming from and heading too and try to move your stand so that you will intercept them before they get into the hardwoods or when they are leaving them.
Might also try a Stalking type entrance and exit. Might just sneak up on them. |
