I have often used Air Current in the morning and night treestand hunts.
I am interested in how many other people actually use the Air Current Thermals to there atvantage.
I know some places I can count on the Air Current Thermal running from the Bottom of the Mountain to the Top early in the morning's and base my treestand location upon scouting rubs mid way up mountains and use the thermals in the A.M. to hunt that Deer.
Your thoughts .......... |

As it is I get to my treestand on the mountain at 5am set up my scent bombs and wait till shooting time but call 20min. before shooting time. the thermals are taking my scents to the top of the Hill where I assume my trophy is bedding....
I can Not track the deer with No snow on the ground "unless" I introduce him to my .308 browning and ends up running off......LOL :[-X ....little chance... |
