I read this and couldn't stop laughing. Here's proof that people in the entertainment industry are some of the stupidest folks on the planet.

If you were a famous musician, would you want the American public to know that the US government considered your music to be an instrument of torture? Really? I mean, come on...going public with this isn't really flattering.

So what do you think would make the torture playlist? Mine would include:

"Do You Really Want to Hurt Me" -- Culture Club
"We Are the World" -- Various
"Do They Know It's Christmas" -- Various
"Lucy In the Sky With Diamonds" -- William Shatner

Being exposed to blairing rock music with a pillow case tied over your head? Brings back memories of Initiation night into my college fraternity.

People assume it's rock & roll, but think about it -- which would be worse to hear repeated over and over and over and over? Pearl Jam or Barney's "I Love You; You Love Me..."

Being subjected non-stop to something short, simple, peppy, melodic and repetitive would be far worse than something complex -- especially if coupled with short gaps of silence of random duration. How about 24 hours straight of the "Good Night, Sleep Tight" song that used to end the Lawrence Welk show?

Those musician entertainers should be glad. Maybe they'll end up being a big hit some day with those eastern cultures

Now there's a thought...the idea that Obama could release dozens of the world's most hardcore terrorists -- each of which is consumed with hatred for Boy George. Depending on whose music they used, this could be a positive thing for Obama.

"I think every musician should be involved," singer-songwriter Rosanne Cash, daughter of Johnny Cash, told the Post. "It seems so obvious. Music should never be used as torture."

Well, that statement certainly tarnished the memory of her father.

"The fact that music I helped create was used in crimes against humanity sickens me," Tom Morello of Rage Against the Machine, said in a statement, according to the Post. "We need to end torture and close Guantanamo now."

Playing music loudly a crime against humanity? Really? Tom Morello should be slapped.........like a little.......well.........you know.

A White House spokesman reportedly told the newspaper that music is no longer used as a method of torture at the terrorist detention center. President Obama signed executive orders on his second day in office to shut down Guantanamo Bay within a year and to ban harsh interrogation techniques.

Stopped by Obama on his 2nd day in office? Really? Harsh interrogation tactic? Really? What a little.....well......you know.

If you're wondering.......it's the same word for both guys......and yes.......it starts with a "B".

It's like an ITCH that you just can't reach.

Sorry, but I tried to be the least offensive as I possibly could.

With that being said, the songs I would pick are:

Anything by Rage Against the Machine, Roseanne Cash, the Dixie Chicks, Wham, Menudo, Culture Club......and the list goes on. OK, anything that isn't classic rock or country.
