Went to Wyoming this year to get an antelope. Hunted with Diamond Ranch Outfitters in McFadden. Saw more antelopes on their ranch than I thought was possible. You scout for one you like and go get him.
Got this guy on the first day. He was at 257 yrds. Shot with a .270 using a 130 gr. Barnes TSX bullet.
He was taken in some canyon breaks, not as flat as you would expect for an antelope.
He was all by himself. Must have just quit chasin does as he was solitary and looked a little beat up. Unfortunately he had broke off both of his tips. He also had a few scars from fighting.
On the stock we kicked up 5 mule deer bucks as we were going through some breaks and draws. It was awesome. Too bad I didn't have a mule deer tag as well.
I really like his dark face. Real black nose and forehead. He greens scores about 75 2/8. Without the broken tips he would have gone 78 to 79

| He is an old buck for sure, looks like he might have broke off on his right side twice, looks real crooked. Great kill! |
