I don't reload my own bullets which I know would be best.
I am looking at using my new 300 wsm for elk and bear this year and I was wondering if Federal 180 gr trophy bonded tip bullets are a good choice?
I also have shot some Federal 180 gr Nosler patitions both shot good out of my gun and wonder if these would work better than the bonded on animal?
Thanks for any input. |

| onzaman, i think federal also makes factory rounds with the Nosler Accubonds. Don't know the grain they use, but I've had good results with the Accubonds. I reload them in 300SAUM, 25WSSM and 7mm RUM. They really pack a punch, massive internal damage. Try those and see if they shoot well in your rifle. Good luck hunting. |
