I have used electrical tape for years on the end of my barrel to keeps rain, snow and sticks out. I just had a new rifle made with a muzzle brake. Will it effect anything if I cover the entire barke with a balloon and shoot it with it still on there. I am not worried about the pressure, just the accuracy. I know it doesn't effect a regular barrel but I have no experience with brakes.

In my experience, it will just blow the ballon off when you fire. I do it when it is raining.

There would be enough air pressure ahead of the bullet that it will blow the balloon off before the bullet ever exits the barrel. It shouldn't have any effect on your accuracy.
