Hi maddawg!

Not dark here, but most of the inlineshooters use these sabot bullets. But you are right a selfcast lead bullet will work also. I would recommend a LEE mould for Minie bullet or a maxiball. If you use the inliner only for hunting buy the Hornady Great Plains Bullets!

Hi maddawg,

you are right with the sabots as long as they are jacketed, but there are real cheap lead hp sabots. Take them to have fun!

I have been having good luck with a 50 Cal. REAL mold from lee. It comes in two weights. 250 gr. and 320 gr. I lub and size with SPG. that said you should not push any lead bullet over about 1800 and my go to load is 75 gr. of 777. it sure punches a nice hole in a paper target. Load easy shot to shot without cleaning. I have not shot this much over 50 yards but the gun I am using has iron sights.

I thinka conical can be shooten adequat out of a short ROT barrel as a sabot. A normal hunting distamce in the forest is about 50-80 meters.
