I have been hunting hogs that get hunted 2-3 nights a week. They will not stop running to bay. I run Curs and they will stayed bayed for 30 min or less depends on how hot or tired they are. I was thinking about putting together a pack of hounds that might stick with them. I have been hunting hogs since 1996 so I am no fly by nighter. We have some of the best dogs in the country. Has anyone got any suggestions? I do this for a part time job and I am tired of the hogs getting away from us where my clients cain't kill'em.

| hogs/boar hunting is limited to the mountain areas in counties boarding Carolina in tennessee. Can only hunt them during Big game season like Bear and deer using the same weapon used to hunt the big game unless you hunt private land. Can kill all you want either male or female.That is feral hog. Boar is a pig that is in certain designated areas such as Catoosa and Cherokee . Pick up a tenn. hunting booklet from Walmart and read for dates. I hunt with a 7mm Remington Magnum Rifle AND a .357 pistol but you can't use full metal jacket ammo. must be hollow point or soft tip ammo. Good Luck |
