Hi everyone,
i'm new to to the site but have heard a lot about it. I currently live in mountain home idaho, and have current tags for both elk and deer. The elk tag is for units 43 and 48, the deer tag is a regular deer but have been scouting and hunting primarily in 43. I have seen some real nice bucks ( i'll try to put some pics up if it will let me) and have had several opportunities to take some nice does but haven't shot at one this early in the season. I am writing because I have taken the entire month of september off for bowhunting, and many of my friends who were supposed to be reliable hunting partners have found other priorities. I have put in quite a bit of time scouting and have some real nice spots laid out, i just don't find it safe to hunt alone and would be interested in a bowhunting partner. Also, I have met some real nice folks here where I hunt, but haven't brought myself to knock on any doors to ask for hunting permission because i haven't wanted to impose on anybody's privacy. If anyone out there would be willing to lend a hand with land access I would be willing to earn it in trade, i'm open to suggestions. Or I would be more than happy to find a hunting partner.
