I heard that now in west virginia if you kill a black bear you have to show the DNR where you killed it. Does anybody from west virginia know if that is true. Please reply.

The bear harvest regulations do not mention anything about showing the place of kill.
Although you are required to tag and check the bear for retagging before transporting more than 75 miles from the point of kill. |
