Anybody know of a spot within about an hour and a half of Parker where I can chase elk? I wanted to go out west again this weekend, but Sunday is my wife's and my first anniversary. I figure it best if I make sure I'm back in town for it.
Thanks!! |

Might try around estes park, while i have not hunted there it is my understanding that some of the land bordering rmnp is available to hunt.
Some of the area around winter park in Arapaho national forest might work as well.
There are elk as close as Genesee and Conifer too.
I have not hunted any of these areas, but it may be something to look in to.
Might want to call the DOW, they may have some advice. |

| I know a guy who hunts the Mt. Evans Wilderness area every year and takes elk pretty regularly. He hasn't ever shared any specific spots with me, but it's something to check out. |
