PETA activists target elementary school students
Chances are having McNuggets for dinner Wednesday night left some Gadsden Elementary students weepy.
Specifically targeting kids with a guilt trip is hitting below the belt.

I think all the hunters should invite the P.E.T.A. people to a new type of reality show. No that wouldn't work because they have no idea what reality is. I heard that their working on trying to stop fishing also. Able brought the first of his best sheep That he KILLED to God and he was pleased where Cain only gave God a few vegtables which made God mad, so I guess Cain was the founder of P.E.T.A. because he ended up killing his brother Able[Genesis chap. 4:1-8 ]They Can't kill us off so now they are going after our children.Shame on the school that let them in.

I should have read the article before commenting, thumbs up to the school. There should be a law prohibiting people from targeting any child. Those tree huggers need to get a life.

Some people are just crazy. I had a teacher in a sociology class that bashed me for eating venison. But then proceeded to think nothing of the fact that she ate a burger for lunch!

Cain was the founder of P.E.T.A.
Ha, Ha! That's pretty good, I wonder what Ingrid would say....
PETA (and Ingrid) say they love animals and kids, but why are they actively taking a position to make kids feel bad about their eating habits. The game plan is nothing more than trying to make the kids feel guilty and bad. As if eating a chicken is the same as killing your pet.
Unfortunately kids will take it a lot harder than adults because they don't have a frame of reference to understand PETA or their tactics. |

Yeah they are just nutty, Bnow. Here is another example:
PETA asks California town to change its name
I don't know. $20k worth of veggie burgers would be hard to pass up. |

The scary thing is that political correctness like this is actually succeeding. Custer Battlefield became Little Bighorn Battlefield years ago and the Devil's Highway (Rt 666) has been redesignated to a different number.
Perhaps we should make the following changes while we're at it:
Rifle, CO -- change to Waiting Period, CO
Gay, OK -- make it Alternative Lifestyle, OK
Intercourse, PA -- change to Happy Valley, PA
Blue Ball, PA -- change to No Means No, PA
Deadwood, SD -- renamed Viagra, SD

Ha Ha!
Don't forget:
Slaughter, LA -> Peace & Love, LA
Oh and if the guys from Blue Ball don't like the name change you can always send them to Coldwater KS.

Quote from article above:
"We were here for their benefit and to help them avoid a life plagued by cruelty and disease," he said,
That is the biggest bunch of B.S. I have ever heard of!!

Hey !! Last time I checked humans were animals also.
Do we track down a Bear or Cougar and burn them out and yell at their cubs every time they make a kill for dinner?
They, like Us, don,t absolutely HAVE to kill in order to eat. They, like Us, could just eat berries and roots. According to those PETA nuts anyway. |

I think you may be on to something there. Bears are, after all, the SUVs of the North American animal kingdom. They're too big, consume too many resources with reckless abandon, and tear up the earth wherever they go. They're also a hazard to other people and animals in the woods.
Perhaps the government should establish bear standards to increase fuel efficiency and limit them to a pound of food per day. Earth-damaging claws should also be outlawed, or as a minimum bears should be required to wear mittens when foraging. Furthermore, imposing a steep tax on animals over 200 pounds would go a long way toward keeping these safety hazards off the trail. |

Hummmm...Some very good points.
The Government could also require them to carry Liability insurance, especially when they cross highways.....mabe enforce that one on Deer too. |
